Tiny Steps started in 2013 as a consequence of one family feeling incredibly isolated and unsupported after the birth of their daughter, diagnosed with west syndrome and severe learning difficulties.

They quickly discovered that services and support for families like theirs was non-existent. They felt compelled to change this feeling of isolation by creating a supportive, vibrant and stimulating network for families facing similar challenges.

This was the beginning of Tiny Steps.
